"rice bubble teats" + whisky

Today, Quincy and I made "Rice Bubble Teats",

and Papa gave Quincy his first lesson on whisky.

The above is definitely not what I expected to find after returning from a 9 o'clock trip to the grocery. (When I left I thought Mr. Q was snug in bed for the night!)

And as for the Rice Bubble Teats,

he loved making them and gobbled up the remnants on the stirring stick. But he took one bite, said "Ta, Mama", and handed it back to me. I guess I have to eat the whole pan on my own. Shame.
